Dakshinavarti Shankh (दक्षिणावर्ती शंख) are non-blowing shankh which are also known as “Laxmi Shankh”. As open face of these shankhs are on the right hand therefore these shankhs are known as Dakshinavarti Shankh. These shankhs should be kept in the east or northeast direction of the pooja room in your house. These shankhs are very helpful to remove the Vastu dosha and bring good luck and prosperity in the life.

- Wrapping Dakshinavarti Shankh in a red colored cloth and keeping it in the vault / safe, the hardships go away and new sources of wealth open up.
- By installing Dakshinavarti Shankh in the south direction in the temple of the house, the evil eye also ends and evil forces do not enter the house.
- According to mythological beliefs Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess Durga and Lord Vishnu are holding south facing conch in their hands.
